About Colorado EDGE Recreational Soccer


Colorado EDGE Soccer Club offers Recreational soccer leagues for all players ages 4 to 19. Our focus is on teaching soccer skills in a fun and creative training environment. All players learn sportsmanship and are encouraged to participate to the best of their abilities. EDGE uses the small-sided game approach to teaching the game of soccer. Starting at 8-9 years old we offer different competition levels to meet player's needs. The two levels offered are an “in-house” league played in Arvada and the surrounding communities or the Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) state league played primarily in the Denver metro area.

Spring Soccer League 2025

Spring Soccer 2025 Season Information: Registration Opens December 1st


  • Registration deadline Feb. 23rd
  • Practice for teams begins the week of March 10th. Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach.
  • First games begin Saturday, March 29th. 
  • The season will conclude on Saturday, May 17th.

  • All practices are played at Stenger Soccer Complex.


Colorado Soccer Association Age Groups

Colorado Soccer Association defines age groups based on the following general rules:

Age groups are determined by the year a player was born. Click here for the Age group Chart

Age group “labels” are the age of a player followed by AND UNDER. For example 8 and Under or 8U

Seasonal Year runs from August 1st to July 31st of the next year.


Practices


Practices begin the week of March 10th(Spring Season). They take place on your team's assigned practice night(s) and day(s)

9U-19U will have two practices a week at Stenger soccer complex. 

Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach. Typically practices are Mon/Wed or Tue/Thur.

Team practice slots are 4:30-5:30 or 5:30-6:30


What about the games?

All of our home games for the 4U-19U developmental programs are played at Stenger Soccer Complex, which is located at 58th and Quail in Arvada. The complex is quite large, and the field layout changes each season, so be sure to print out a field map (located under the club info tab at the left side of our website). Each team will get a minimum of 8 games per season.

How Much Does It Cost?

Recreational Registration Fees*:

  • U9 and U10 (2016,2015): $180 for the season
  • U11-U14(2014-2011): $195 for the season
  • U15-U19 (2010-2006): $225 for the season

Philosopy

Colorado EDGE is dedicated to providing a FUN, but challenging soccer environment for the children in our program. The emphasis is placed on FUN and player development, through an age-appropriate training program. Each child is challenged at a level which is appropriate for their stage of development. The EDGE prides itself in offering the most enjoyable and rewarding soccer experience for our players, coaches, referees, and families in the Arvada and surrounding communities.

 

Colorado EDGE begins offering Recreational programs for players starting at the 4 and Under age group and is an option for players all the way through the 19 and Under age group.

Starting at our 9 and Under League Program, we have different levels of competition, some of which are tailored toward the Competitive program.

At Colorado EDGE we have Recreational soccer leagues for all players in the 4U – 19U age groups.
